Keu'deh rubbed a fist across his eyes, scrubbing away his tears. He'd finally remember where he was and that his hood was down, and the gathering of high elves around him made him ashamed of his tears. Aniphia was gently laying Kaho on the ground, her eyes brimming with tears and her dress stained with Kaho's blood. Yido stood silently behind him, shifting nervously. Keu'deh ground his teeth together, tamping his feeling down, he'd mourn Kaho later. For now, the high elves who let him die were making a choking rage boil up in him and he decided it'd be better for the two who'd shown him kindness if he left the area as soon as possible. He shoved himself to his feet, almost knocking Yido over and making the gathered elves step back in... fear? Surprise? He didn't care. He heard Yido say his name as he stalked away, picking his direction at random, glaring at the high elves that parted before him.
"Weren't we leaving?" He couldn't stop his anger from coloring his voice and Yido's ears dropped low as he helped Aniphia to her feet.
It was Keu'deh's fault they were leaving, he knew this and he'd have to apologize, but not now. Now he just wanted away from Kaho's body and the elves he blamed for his death. He didn't even hear Yido's response.
