"Yeah... you see... well..." Yido stalled, trying not to look at the drow while he tried to decide how to explain himself. "Um... Ehh..." The dark elf look away from him, disappointment painting his face and he fixed his gaze on Aniphia's collar, his ears sinking low.

"No I get it... Trust me..." His voice was full of hurt, prompting Aniphia to touch his face gently, motherly concern touching her features.

"Um..." Yido was taken aback by the drow's tone, his own ears drooping when the drow's ears flattened against his head in a mix of anger and hurt. The dark elf squeezed his eyes shut while his words flowed from him in an angry frustrated tumble.

"Shh..." Aniphia crooned gently to the young drow, she kept having to adjust what she thought of him, every time likening him more and more to one far to young to be on his own. She glared at Yido again who stared back blankly, confusion plain on his face.

"But... I thought..." Aniphia didn't let him finish, scolding him while she held the shaking drow.

"No Yido... You didn't..."
