"Oh, my name is Keu'deh. I wanted to thank you for bringing me here and healing me." He trailed after her, finally getting to thank her in a shared language.
"I'm Aniphia, pleased to meet you." She turned to smile at him as she walked. "You're giving me too much credit, though. I brought you home, but I'm not a cleric." He stopped and stared at her.
"...What?" She grinned and turned towards her kitchen.
"Yido healed you, not me." He stood there while she walked away, processing this new information.
"Yido... but..." He turned to find Yido not far behind him, sheepishly looking anywhere except at the drow.
"......Thanks..." He looked away from Yido and rubbed his arm. "...for healing me..." he added, almost defensively.
"Yeah..." Yido scratched his temple, still refusing to look at Keu'deh. "It was the least I could do... and I am sorry..." Keu'deh shifted uncomfortably, feeling like he couldn't really hold a grudge when it had ultimately lead to his getting healed.
