"I wish there was something more I could do..." She crossed her arms in her lap and regarded her companions somberly.
"Ignore them." He turned towards Yido, not wanting to continue the conversation. "Are we near a town?"
"Hmm?" Yido glanced at the passing travelers. "Oh... Yeah... pretty close..." He'd gotten up earlier and followed the flow until the walls of a fairly large town came into view, they'd likely reach it by late morning.
"Let's go then." Keu'deh pushed himself off the ground while the siblings gave him confused looks.
"Um... Okay..."
"But..." Aniphia's concern was plain. They'd had problems with every small town and village they'd come across, even going so far as to leave Keu'deh behind while they went to procure supplies at a few. For all it's size, this town was likely to just hold a larger number of issues for them to deal with. Yido kept his reservations, if he had any, to himself, collecting their staves and picking himself off the ground while Keu'deh pulled Aniphia to her feet.
