"I have him, Aniphia..." Yido held the drow carefully as he adjusted his position. "It's okay..." He wasn't really sure if he was speaking to her sister or the unresponsive elf in his lap.
"Is he...?" She let the question trail off, afraid to voice her fear. Yido shook his head, picking his words slowly.
"No... Not yet..." He added ruefully, "He... needs... healing......" His voice was very soft, and his ears drooped as he spoke.
"I........." Aniphia stopped in confusion, Yido was the cleric, not her. After his reaction earlier he couldn't really be offering... "Will you?" She couldn't hide the hope in her voice, and Yido was quiet for a long moment, considering his choices. Not that he had many, he could either heal the drow and be banished from his home for breaking age-old laws should anyone find out, or he could let the dark elf leaning against him die, facing his sister's wrath, or worse her tears, not to mention the guilt of knowing full well how simple it would be to heal the delicate creature he was holding. It wasn't a hard choice really...
"......Yeah..." It was almost a sigh of defeat as he said it.
"Oh Yido..." She knew the consequences as well as he did. "Thank you..."
"...Yeah..." If no one found out they'd be fine, and it's not like he hadn't just gotten back from his apprenticeship...
