A high lilting voice pierced his slumber, questioning in a language beyond him.

"Hmm?" he didn't bother opening his eyes, attempting to sink into his slumber once more. The voice questioned him again, closer this time, and sounding a bit more insistent.

"What?" He opened his eyes, bidding the embrace of darkness farewell, only to find the curious and open face of the blond elf surprisingly close to his own. She smiled at him as she layered several more questions on him, not seeming to care if he would respond in between.

'My soul to understand this woman...' She hadn't withdrawn, continuing to question him in what he could only assume was her native tongue. 'I guess she saved me...' She dropped yet another question, her persistence was amazing...
